About The Authors

Although Tracie C. Williams had been writing her entire life, she never imagined some day becoming a published author. After completing her first book and sending her manuscript to several publishers, she realized that having freedom and autonomy over her work was the most important part of being a writer. She soon discovered that would not be possible with a traditional publishing company.

Carl Nickles also had an interest in writing and recently decided to turn that interest into action.  As a self-professed introvert, writing became a positive and creative outlet for the expression of his ideas and convictions.  Though Carl had always felt becoming a writer (and even a published author) would be a significant accomplishment, he thought that the path of traditional publishing was restrictive and out of reach.

Crescent Sol is is a self-publishing company created by Tracie C. Williams and Carl Nickles. Their mission is to share ideas, knowledge, and interests through literature and art.

Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Crescent Sol is a platform that uses creative power to uplift and inspire members of our community, challenge the status quo, and promote mindfulness and harmony. Crescent Sol wishes to expand beyond self-publishing and become a trusted repository of thought-provoking content for our community.
